Withings has rolled out two new connected blood pressure monitors that offer clinical-level heart monitoring in the comfort of your home. These two monitors are quite innovative with new features. The first monitor ECG-equipped BPM Core is one of the most updated at-home blood pressure monitors in Withings lineups, whereas the other BPM Connect is an updated version of Withings original blood pressure monitor.
BPM Core – BP Monitor
Withings BPM Core is packed with three different medical tools, enabling people to gather medical data which previously was only available during a visit to a doctor’s office. It is not just a simple blood pressure monitor, it also has a digital stethoscope to listen to your heartbeat and an ECG machine to track atrial fibrillation (AFib).
This BPM Core can diagnose cardiovascular disease. You can check your heart rate, record your heartbeat, and measure your ECG throughout the day. You can also share your scans easily with medical professionals. Doctors would be able to study the information from the BPM Core to get a complete picture of your cardiovascular health. This data is also used to track high blood pressure, valvular disease, and AFib, an irregular heart rhythm that is instrumental in stroke.
A blood pressure monitor captures systolic and diastolic blood pressure plus heart rate. Electrocardiogram (ECG) helps detect atrial fibrillation, the most common form of arrhythmia.
A digital stethoscope listens to your heart and helps detect the most prevalent valvular heart disease risks. Medically accurate — CE medical approved
Immediate results via instant colour-coded feedback on the BPM Core and in the app on your iPhone or iPad. Automatic syncing with your iOS device via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
Easily email a full ECG report to your doctor. A rechargeable battery provides six months of product use with one charge. Eligible for purchase using Flexible Spending Account (FSA) funds (in the US).
BPM Connect – All in one Tool
Focusing on simplicity, the BPM Core is Withing’s do-it-all device. Similar to the BPM Core, Connect can share its data with medical practitioners. It’s portable with a rechargeable battery for you to carry the device and take measurements.
It is an updated version of Withings BPM that has an LED helping you to see your vitals right on the device without having to connect to a phone. The display also changes colour for the level of blood pressure. It changes to green for normal, orange for moderate and red for high blood pressure. On connecting to a smartphone, you can share the data from both the BPM Core and the BPM Connect with Withings Health Mate app and synced to the Apple Health app.
